This policy describes how the AnatoME mobile application ("the App"), developed by Erick Jesse Angeles Lopez ("we", "us"), handles user information.
Summary
AnatoME is a fully offline application. We do not operate servers, do not send any information over
the internet, do not use analytics services, do not display advertising, and do not share data with
third parties. Everything you record is stored only on your device.
Information the App stores on your device
The App stores the following data locally, on your own device, based on what you enter:
- The display name you choose to show in the App (optional).
- Your training sessions: exercises, sets, reps, weight, duration, distance, incline, and notes.
- Your custom exercise and category catalog.
- App preferences: theme (light/dark), units (kg/lb), language, weekly goal, preferred training days, timer configuration, and daily reminder configuration.
This data is stored in a local database (SQLite) and in the device's preferences storage. It never
leaves your device unless you choose to export it manually (see below).
Information we do NOT collect
- We do not collect your location.
- We do not access your contacts, photos, microphone, or camera.
- We do not use cookies, advertising identifiers, or device fingerprints.
- We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Sentry, or any third-party service that collects data.
- We do not have user accounts or sign-in.
System permissions and what they are used for
- Notifications: used only for the daily training reminder that you configure inside the App.
Notifications are generated locally on your device; nothing is sent to a server.
- Storage / file access: only when you tap "Export" or "Import". This lets the App save a backup of your data as a file on your device, or read a file that you select.
